Keeping Momentum in the Blue Pacific
November 7, 2024
The Blue Pacific consists of twenty-one nations spread through Micronesia, Melanesia and Polynesia. The total population across all these regions is estimated at approximately 20 million.
Based in Suva and serving customers for over eight years, Hydroflux Pacific has been supporting water reuse and environmental protection for resorts, townships and industrial manufacturers via our local team of dedicated experts.
Recently, Stuart Petersen, Director of Hydroflux Pacific addressed his 100+ colleagues from Australia and New Zealand at a recent strategy meeting.
“The Blue Pacific consists of three culturally diverse areas that is connected by the sea and by similar challenges with regards to climate change and water security.
Water is precious, it is vital to life.
Our recent work here in Fiji and across in Papua New Guinea leads to the proper treatment of wastewater, for safe discharge into environment that benefits local communities, enhancing the health of the natural water ways and skills sharing with young people.
Whether it’s a small community, large industrial manufacturer or a beach side resort, we provide solutions for these applications to enable safe discharge of treated water, or reuse of that water.
And furthermore, manufacturing locally in Fiji as well as Port Moresby for our PNG projects provides a much welcome boost to local economies” says Stuart Petersen, Director of Hydroflux Pacific
