Screw Press Technology Favoured by Meat Works

Hydroflux Industrial has completed the successful installation and commissioning of two of the largest Q800 HUBER screw presses at a meat works in QLD. The screw presses are capable of dewatering over 40,000L of Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) per hour with minimal operator attendance.
Huber Q-Press® screw press technology has become the preferred means for dewatering biological and primary sludge for municipalities and industry offering significant benefits over other technologies including greatly reduced maintenance, washwater usage and being fully contained odour and aerosol containment.
There are currently more than 100 HUBER screw presses operational in Australia and over 2000 worldwide.
